The Greenbryre Golf and Country Club was sold in the fall of 2007.  Mr. Gary Gaudet has purchased the land and title from the Semko Family who built and operated Greenbryre Golf and Country club for the past 28 years.  Gary Gaudet took ownership of Greenbryre Golf and Country Club on November 1st, 2007.  The Country Club clubhouse is being completely renovated to give the membership and the public a fresh new look.  In addition to the renovations is the building of the “new club 19” tournament and banquet facility.  This addition will definitely enhance any golf course function or special events.  The club 19 will also have attached to the building a grab n go station after 9 holes.  More additional information will be provided as the building begins construction in March of 2008.

Gary Gaudet has hired Brad Vinnick as the General Manager Head Golf Professional.  Brad has come over from the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club Public West Course where he was the Head Professional for the past 7 years.  Brad brings with him over 20 years of CPGA experience.   Brad Vinnick had this to say about the Greenbryre Golf and Country Club, “I am really excited about the opportunity Mr Gary Gaudet has given me.  Right after the 1st meeting we had, and he instilled his vision and planning of the Golf Course it was something I knew I had to be a part of.  Even though the golf course has been established, it is the entire process of setting up the entire operation from the ground floor which has been so exciting.”  The Greenbryre Golf and Country Club is a semi private facility that allows members 10 day booking privileges and the public 7 days.

Greenbryre places a premium on club selection and accuracy. The Greens vary in size from 4,500 to 8,000 square feet. Many native bluffs accentuate the gentle roll of the fairways in addition to more than 5,000 planted trees. The 40 sand bunkers provide definition and that extra bit of challenge. An added bonus to your golf is watching a variety of ducks, grebes or goslings paddling in water ponds which are surrounded by nesting redwings and yellow heads. Songbirds such as warblers, orioles, waxwings and threshers are just some of the wildlife you will find.

After a round, you will find that many Greenbryre Golf and Country Club golfers comment "it’s a great walk in a beautiful prairie park." The course is set in a peaceful, well-treed area on the south-east fringe of the city of Saskatoon. This classic 18-hole course, designed by executive professional Peter Semko, was created 28 years ago with the aim of providing an affordable public golf facility in a country club setting. It’s motto, "Where golf and nature both found a home."
